It was previously reported that the trailer for the upcoming relaunch of “A Nightmare on Elm Street” would be attached to “Zombieland” on October 2nd. This is still true. But if you don’t want to wait any longer, you’re in luck! The trailer hit myspace moments ago! In my opinion, the movie looks pretty good! I’m a little 50/50 on the Freddy voice, but that’s just because I’m used to it being done a certain way. Haleys Freddy voice is his own thing and it sounds as if it’s full of pain and torment. I’ve checked out the trailer a couple of times and it’s already growing on me. This is not the trailer shown at Comic Con. It’s hard to say how it’s going to turn out by watching a trailer. Good be good, could be bad…that’s what I took from viewing that.
I think it looks pretty good. Its a little awkward seeing new faces in familiar scenes but hopefully they can do the roles justice.
Only complaint really is Freddy’s face. Not sure I like it yet.
Agree on the face. Kinda strange looking.

Yeah, he kinda looks like a toad but I think that just might be his facial structure.
I dig Fred’s new look. Actually looks like a burn victim rather than a fake monster.
So they show Krueger as a sympathetic character in this one? Wow.I predict the fans are so taken with Englund,they’ll reject Haley’s portrayal.
I am actually FOR Krueger being a sympathetic character. But I don’t buy it. I’m feeling a swerve in there.
I can say that from the last shot, the make-up looks like shit.
The more I watch this my feelings about this picture are turning very cynical.
For some reason I got a really bad feeling about this movie.
I think it’s alright as long as he wasn’t innocent and was a child killer like in the original, not a character to feel sorry for.
